Where the Red Stands was created for Charleston’s Fine Art Auctions as part of my continuing exploration of atmosphere, colour and the Australian landscape. A solitary red flowering tree rises from the landscape beneath a vast dark sky, its vivid colour creating a striking focal point against the surrounding stillness. The painting captures a moment of quiet strength, where a single element commands attention through presence alone.
