When I Was Young – Lavender Bay, North Sydney  is a small oil piece and comes ready to hang.

I grew up in Sydney, near Taronga Zoo – my days were spent at Balmoral Beach with my Dad, exploring the fantastic bushland with friends in the school holidays and taking the dog for walks around the harbour area. Feeling a little nostalgic I decided to paint a series of works of the area. As a fan of AA Milne, I thought I might name the pieces ‘When I was young” – these paintings are different from my usual stormy skies and single trees – they are full of clear skies and blue waters and memories I cherish.
