There used to be a red road running o’er the rise,
Dipping down to fernland and climbing to the skies;

And the forest birds were singing there the livelong day.

With this vivid inspiration, Twisted Gum on The Red Road depicts a red road travelling through the hills of the wine region in south Australia, the vines in rows ripening and the winery snuggled in amongst the grapes. There is a singular gum tree, its twisted branches reaching out as though inviting you to join in this journey. The dappled light filters through the canopy, creating playful patterns that dance on the ground below.
