The Tree That Waits was created for Charleston’s Fine Art Auctions as part of my continuing exploration of weather, atmosphere and the Australian landscape. A solitary red flowering tree stands quietly against a vast sky of deep green and turquoise tones, holding its place within the open landscape as changing weather approaches.
