Surrender is a graphite drawing created on Bockingford 535 gsm watercolor paper, cold-pressed and archival, ensuring its durability and preservation. The concept for this piece has been developing for some time. After completing the initial drawing, I felt compelled to create a companion work that would deepen the narrative. The theme embodies the emotional shift from the fight to survive to the quiet acceptance of surrender, a powerful and reflective journey.
Although I don’t often release finished drawings, they remain an essential part of my artistic process. This piece, like others in my collection, reflects the raw emotional undercurrents that I explore in my work.
The drawing is signed on the front with ‘Lucinda’ and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity from Lucinda’s Studio, guaranteeing its originality and quality.
