Surrender is an original graphite drawing exploring the moment when resistance gives way to acceptance. Executed entirely in pencil, the work uses the quiet strength of graphite to express vulnerability, resilience and the emotional shift from the struggle to survive toward surrender.

Although I rarely release finished drawings, graphite remains an essential part of my artistic practice. Its subtle range of tone allows me to explore atmosphere, light and emotion with a quietness that no other medium can achieve.
