Standing For The Light was created for Charleston’s Fine Art Auctions as part of my continuing exploration of weather, light and the Australian landscape. A solitary tree stands beneath towering blue storm clouds, illuminated by light breaking across the land. The work explores the quiet resilience found in the landscape, where moments of calm often exist alongside approaching weather.
