Lonely Sentinel was created for Charleston’s Fine Art Auctions as part of my continuing exploration of solitude and scale within the Australian landscape. A single tree stands beneath a distant bank of cloud, holding its place against the vastness of sky and open country. The painting reflects my fascination with resilience, stillness and the quiet presence of trees in the landscape.
