I’ve always loved that moment after rain when the light begins to return and everything feels fresher than it did before. The jacaranda seems to glow against the landscape, its blossoms bringing warmth and life to the quiet that follows the weather.

I wanted this painting to celebrate that feeling. Not just the beauty of the tree itself, but the sense of renewal that arrives with changing light. The softness of the sky and the delicate detail of the blossoms balance one another, creating a landscape that feels peaceful, hopeful and full of possibility.
