Jacaranda Held Under Skies was created for Charleston’s Fine Art Auctions as part of my continuing exploration of weather, light and the Australian landscape. A solitary jacaranda stands beneath sweeping storm clouds, its vibrant purple blossoms bringing warmth and colour to the shifting sky. The painting captures the quiet tension between approaching weather and the enduring beauty found within the landscape.

The contrast between luminous violet blossoms and the expansive sky creates a strong sense of atmosphere and depth, celebrating those fleeting moments when colour briefly transforms the Australian landscape before the light changes once again.
