Intertwined Souls is an original Australian landscape painting that explores connection, resilience and the quiet strength found in enduring relationships.

A vast sky stretches across the canvas, painted in luminous blues layered with sweeping white cloud formations. Below, the landscape glows with rich golds, ochres and warm oranges, creating the sense of light gathering across the horizon after weather has passed.

At the centre of the composition stand two trees whose trunks and branches lean gently towards one another. Rather than dominating the landscape, they belong to it, standing together against the openness of the sky. Their intertwined forms suggest companionship, shared experience and the quiet comfort of simply remaining.

As with much of my work, the landscape is less about describing a particular place than creating an atmosphere. The expansive sky, restrained composition and glowing light invite a moment of stillness, allowing each viewer to bring their own memories and emotions to the painting.

Painted in professional oils on canvas, the image continues around the sides before being presented in a handmade oak floating frame. The work is signed on the front with my name, Lucinda, and is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
