Evening Light is one from the series “Above The Canopy” which developed from the view from my studio window where all the trees have been cut down (it’s ok they were a pest) what was left was one lone spindly gum tree – when you look out above the tree canopy there are always a few brave souls who strive to rise above the others. The new colour palette that is appearing in the pieces is taken from the intense colours of the Australian landscape – from the pink salt lakes to the green oceans.

The paintings are signed on the front with my name ‘Lucinda’ and painted round the edges, they also come with a Certificate of Authenticity. I only use Artist quality materials in the creation of my artwork .

The piece will arrive cocooned in bubble wrap and packed within a sturdy cardboard container, sometimes recycled ( I do like to recycle when I can!), any glass will be taped to help prevent breakage, I am still losing the war with the tape machine so the package may not be the prettiest on the outside but the contents will arrive safe and sound.
