Eucalyptus Towers belongs to my Above the Canopy collection, a body of work inspired by the remarkable experience of looking upward into Australia’s towering gum trees rather than across the landscape.

Painted in a striking vertical format, luminous eucalyptus trunks rise through layers of turquoise, teal and deep blue, dissolving into drifting clouds and open sky. Rather than focusing on the ground beneath our feet, the painting invites the viewer to pause beneath the canopy, where light filters through the leaves and familiar trees become something almost architectural in their quiet grandeur.

While many of my paintings explore distant horizons and expansive skies, Eucalyptus Towers celebrates another perspective entirely, finding atmosphere and stillness by looking upwards into the heart of the Australian landscape.
