Run by Bernadette Sanfilippo in Melbourne, Ground Zero Gallery offers artists a space to present original work without the usual commission model. That approach immediately appealed to me. It feels direct, respectful and well aligned with the way I want my paintings to be shared.
My work is shaped by weather, distance and stillness, and by the emotional pull of the Australian landscape. I’m drawn to places that feel quiet but held, where light, land and atmosphere carry more than description alone. To be part of a platform that values originality and artist independence feels like a natural fit.
