Moonshadows was created for Charleston’s Fine Art Auctions as part of my continuing exploration of atmosphere, stillness and the Australian landscape. Beneath a luminous cloud, a pale solitary tree stands against the darkening sky, creating a sense of quiet mystery and distance. The painting reflects my fascination with the subtle moods that emerge as light fades and the landscape settles into silence.
