Some spaces feel almost complete, but are missing a sense of quiet balance or connection.

A commissioned original landscape painting is a way of bringing atmosphere, presence and cohesion into a space in a personal and lasting way.

Marley’s House – you can read more about the project here

This commissioned bedroom was installed within an award-winning Brisbane residence designed to reflect the calm atmosphere and material palette of the home.

Commissioned Australian atmospheric landscape artwork for Marleys house in Brisbane by Lucinda Leveille

Diamond Creek, Victoria

Designed as a quiet pair, the pieces were allowed to bring atmosphere, balance and connection across the room through soft weather-inspired colour and light.

The works were developed gradually in response to the scale, light and openness of the home.

Primrose Hill, London for Canberra

Created for collectors who had previously lived in London, this commissioned painting was inspired by the atmosphere and memory of Primrose Hill and designed to bring warmth, connection and presence into their Canberra home.

Randwick, Sydney

Created for a contemporary Randwick home, the painting was designed to bring a sense of atmosphere, calm and quiet drama into the living space.

The dramatic sky and open land became a quiet focal point within the home.

Each commissioned painting is a one-of-a-kind original, created specifically for the space and the person it is intended for. No reproductions or editions are made.

Commissions are approached with even greater care and attention than my exhibited works, allowing the painting to develop gradually and naturally over time. There is a collaborative aspect to the process, but also a quiet unfolding, with space for refinement as the work evolves into something deeply personal for both the collector and the space.

Practical details such as scale, palette, timing and pricing are discussed clearly from the outset. Once direction is agreed upon, a detailed quote is provided and a one-third deposit secures a place within my studio schedule.

Most commissions are completed within six to eight weeks depending on scale and timing, and updates are shared at key stages throughout the process.

Sharing photographs of the space is often very helpful, allowing us to consider atmosphere, proportion and colour more carefully so the finished work feels settled and natural within its setting.
