My Art Featured on Selling Houses Australia

Four Artworks Find a New Home in East Ballina

I’m incredibly excited to share some fantastic news—four of my artworks were recently selected to feature on the popular television show Selling Houses Australia! It’s not every day that your work makes its way into the national spotlight, and being a part of this iconic series was a surreal and truly rewarding experience.

The house in question was located in beautiful East Ballina, a coastal town in New South Wales that’s known for its picturesque beaches and relaxed atmosphere. However, despite its appealing location, the property had lingered on the market far longer than expected. That’s where Selling Houses Australia stepped in.

Art Lovers Australia: The Creative Bridge

This collaboration was made possible through Art Lovers Australia, an incredible platform and community that supports and promotes Australian artists. They have long championed the idea that original artwork can significantly elevate the emotional and visual impact of a space—and I couldn’t agree more.

Art Lovers Australia worked closely with the show’s team to identify pieces that would complement the newly designed interiors of the East Ballina property. I was thrilled to find out that four of my artworks had been selected as part of this creative transformation.

The Featured Artworks

Each of the pieces selected for the show tells a unique story. From quiet introspection to the power and beauty of nature, my works added layers of personality and meaning to the transformed home.

Time Is Never Planned (from the Exploring the Solitary series)
This artwork embodies the unpredictable nature of life. It plays with depth, space, and texture to evoke a feeling of contemplation. Within the home, this piece found a perfect place — bridging kitchen, dining and lounge area offering a moment of stillness amidst the refreshed surroundings.

Quiet Solitude (from the Exploring the Solitary series)
There’s a special kind of peace found in solitude. Quiet Solitude explores this theme through soft tones and delicate strokes, inviting the viewer to embrace the beauty of introspection. In its new bedroom setting, this artwork provided a grounding presence, encouraging a serene atmosphere.

The Sea to the Shore (from the Songs of the Sea series)
Inspired by the movement and energy of the ocean, this painting captures the rhythm of waves meeting the land. The brushstrokes mimic the fluidity of water, while its layered colours bring forth a sense of movement. Positioned strategically in the main lounge area, this piece bridged the connection between nature and the coastal beauty of East Ballina.

A Desert of Waves (from the Songs of the Sea series)
This work portrays the paradox of vast, rolling waves and the stillness they can create in one’s soul. It celebrates both the turbulence and tranquility of the sea—a perfect representation of contrast within a space that has undergone transformation.

The integration of art in home styling is more than an aesthetic choice—it’s a vital element that shapes how a space feels. By featuring works that spark emotion and tell a story, Selling Houses Australia demonstrated the significance of curated art in real estate transformations.

A Personal Reflection

Seeing my artworks featured on a beloved show is an honor. It reaffirms the idea that art has a profound place in interior design—not just as embellishment, but as an integral part of how spaces are experienced. It’s inspiring to know that these pieces will not only be seen by a wide audience but will also contribute to the success of this home’s sale.

Art has always been about connection—between the creator and the viewer, between the piece and the space it inhabits. The collaboration between Art Lovers Australia and Selling Houses Australia was a brilliant demonstration of this synergy, and I couldn’t be more grateful to be part of it.
